Mini Morgans Nursery is a new family-run childcare centre in Hertford, opening our doors in September! We provide high-quality early learning, daycare, and forest school activities for children aged 0-4.
We are opening up spaces for children aged from 3 months until the September after they turn 3, offering a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
We are currently undergoing some refurbishment work. This allows us to create a home from home environment and ensure that the future children in our care will feel safe and stimulated at all times.

Quality Childcare in Hertford
Mini Morgans provides quality childcare in Hertford for 0 - 4 year olds. We provide everything your child needs, including formula milk, nappies, wipes, meals and snacks. We do not charge extras for the many trips and extra-curricular sessions with external providers that we offer such as farm/park visits, zoo/theatre visits, sports/dance/yoga/drama/languages classes.

Forest School
Our Forest school sessions are held by our very own bushcraft trained Elias. Elias holds forest school sessions in our very own outdoor area, as well as the local woods. We use forest school approaches to develop self-esteem, self-regulation, and an appreciation for nature, with regular trips to local woods.
Community Engagement
Community Engagement - Your children will learn lots with us at Mini Morgans Nursery, but they will learn even more from visits and trips to community partners. We will strive to have links with lots of businesses and organisations in Hertford and beyond. Our Community Champion's role includes getting your children out and about to help them feel part of their community and understand their world.

Every activity we plan is designed to introduce something fresh—a new skill, a unique challenge, or a surprising discovery. While children explore these activities, our observations help us better understand their needs and interests. At the heart of every activity is the bond we create with children. Relationships are the key to fostering confidence and curiosity.
Physical, Outdoor and Risky Play
Healthy, happy children need regular access to fresh air and room to practice big movements and voices. At Mini Morgans we have a lovely outdoor area. The children have access to a safe and secure outdoor play area which they use regularly throughout the day. We are also only a short walk away from the local woods, where we can take the children to explore all forms of nature and what our local area has to offer. We use the outdoor space to hold our very own Forest school sessions. Where we walk on tightropes between the trees, make clay faces using natural resources, build our own mini campfires and toast marshmallows.
Child Led
Our experienced team of nursery practitioners at Mini Morgans Nursery are trained to support children through their development milestones. The high quality of child care offered, supports children's psychological development. We follow therapeutic approaches enabling each child to learn through play in a positive environment where close bonds are built through constant care, support and encouragement. Our discipline involves helping children to identify feelings, reflect on consequences and cooperate with their peers. Our nursery practitioners are trained to model for and co-regulate with children to help them develop confidence and resilience as they play.
